Promo Pathway

Best of Promo Pathway

Designed to fast track a pipeline of diverse talent into the industry, the Promo Pathway Program trains youth in Los Angeles to write, produce and edit on-air promotions. Through a combination of courses, internships and mentorships, the students receive intensive training in short-form writing, creative execution, and video editing and production.

In partnership with Santa Monica College and South Bay Center for Community Development, PromaxBDA mobilized industry-wide support to help make the Promo Pathway Program the first accredited on-air promotions training program in the US.

If you would like more information or to get involved in the Promo Pathway internship programs or Promo Pathway mentorship program, please contact Vice President of Industry Development and Diversity, Katerina Zacharia at katerina@promaxbda.org or 310.789.1523.

promo pathway mentorship program

The Promo Pathway Mentorship Program matches each Promo Pathway student with an executive working in on-air promotions. The purpose of this program is to help Promo Pathway students make the successful transition into the industry and specifically, the on-air promotions workplace. The mentors help students develop their knowledge of the industry, foster their creative passion for the entertainment marketing industry, and enhance their ability to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills within and between professional and personal contexts.

opportunities

PromaxBDA student competitions offer students across the country the opportunity to showcase their creative talents, build their reels/portfolios and gain exposure to creative executives in the media and entertainment marketing industry. Our goal is to support students as they make that transition from student to professional. And, the best place to start that transition is with our competitions.
